OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES:

• Must come in store during October 25-27th and have your picture taken by our staff along with an entry form

• Must post your cosplay on any social media platform and tag us (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) in order to qualify for the contest

• This is a family store and a family event. Excessive nudity, over-sexualized content, excessive cruelty, and obscene language is not allowed. Not following this rule automatically disqualifies you from the cosplay contest.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

• Are gun props okay? Yes, as long as you have an orange tip installed at all times.

• Are swords and other weapons okay? Yes, as long as they are not a threat to public safety.

• What is judging based on? A panel of judges will look for creativity and “wow factor” to determine the winners

• Are there other prizes for amateur cosplayers? Yes, we will have other smaller giveaways (best store bought costume, best amateur costume, and best effort costume). So even if you are not an expert in cosplay, we encourage you to come out and have some fun and maybe win a prize.

• Can you wear a store bought costume: Yes

• Do you allow for group entry for the contest: Yes, but you will have to split the prize amongst your group.

• How will the winners be announced and how will I get the prize? Winners will be announced on Halloween, October 31st via email and social media channels. Winners will need to come to the store anytime after October 31st to claim your prize.

• Is there an age restriction? Nope! 10 years old to 100 years old are all welcome.
